Recognizing the role parents play in cultivating a love of reading in their children, OLMC School encourages the parent’s active participation in encouraging their child to continue to read throughout the summer. In addition to the summer reading list, below are some websites that offer more choices and lists that suggest reading activities, tips on selecting books that interest children and practical ways to increase any child’s reading skills while fostering a love of books.
The summer reading program sponsored the Bucks County Library is an excellent way to continue the reading habit throughout the summer and have fun too! For information about registration (Summer Quest begins June 18) and activities, go to the Bucks County Library website.
